 A PROJECT WITH A PURPOSE

Mission Statement

Our mission is to design, manufacture, and test a safe remote-controlled electric vehicle by the end of April 2018 to validate the concept of an autonomous cargo-carrying system to service the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) campus while utilizing technologies from the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory (HSFL).

Transportation consumes 62% of Hawaii's imported oil, while electricity generation uses about 33%. Other commercial and industrial uses account for the remaining 5%.
